Okay, took some fiddling but I figured it out! Here's how you do it in Google Chrome and Firefox.
1. Go to your photo album and click on the photo you want to upload to your profile or put into a post. The slide show black background should pop up with the full size image you want to post in it.
Google Chrome:
2. Right click the image and select "inspect element". A window should pop up from the bottom of your current browser window. You should see a bunch of HTML code.
3. When you mouse over the correct text area you should see the image become highlighted.
4. Right click on the link and select "copy as html".
5. Go back to your forum post and click the "insert image" button.
6. Paste html code in between the [ img] tags.
7. Here's the kind of tricky part: delete everything EXCEPT the image link. So when you paste THIS:
< img class="spotlight" alt="" aria-describedby="fbPhotoTheaterCaption" aria-busy="false" src="http://a5.sphotos.ak.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ak-snc3/30723_1443428253913_1479309116_31193600_7614011_n.jpg" >
Delete EVERYTHING except this:

8. Post.
Firefox:
2. Right click the image and select "View page info." A window should pop up on top of your current browser window with a menu at the top left hand corner.
3. Select the "media" button.
4. You will see a whole bunch of links to images. Scroll through them until you find the one you want.
4a. Alternatively, you can go to the far right side of the window and a little box in the corner (it's tiny) is a drop down menu allowing you to select what elements you want to see of each piece of media (size, type, count, etc). Select "size" and you can scroll through the images until you find the biggest one and it will be the image you selected.
5. When you find the image you want, copy the link in the source code.
6. Go back to your forum post and click the "insert image" button.
7. Insert image in between the [ img] tags.
8. Post.
