Who is doing it? Is it good or shit or a scam? Did you do it and quit? I WANT TO KNOW EVERYTHING. One of my friends is doing it and keeps harassing everyone we know to buy Amway stuff and *join the business* and she claims to be making $50 000 a year. I laugh. SPILL.

I'm not doing it, but have known people who have. She wants you to join the business because then she makes money on the money you make, so it raises her income. It can be good if you know a lot of people, more accurately a lot of people who want to buy Amway products. They have a lot of good stuff though. My parents used to buy the cleaning products and vitamins.
You'd have to sell a lot, or get a lot of people signed up to sell a lot to make good money, but it can be done as long as you can make it your full time job to either get people or sales.

I knew a family who sold, lived and breathed Amway. I felt sorry for their daughter because anytime she made a new friend at school the parents saw it as an opportunity to recruit or make sales. I think they did quite well financially, but both parents worked full time on it.
My hubby used to work in a supermarket years ago and he wasn't very happy there. One day, a lady ask him if he wanted health, wealth and financial security. He said yes, so she asked if she could come around and show us this great way to achieve these things. Turned out to be Amway and she wouldn't leave. It was a pyramid scheme type thing. Because of these experiences i stay well away form Amway consultants and brochures.

It's sounding more and more like a great way to alienate yourself from friends. I think I'll stick to the NOT INTERESTED stance.
