My lovely carpet which is about 3 months old is now officially wrecked. I'm not sure exactly how it happened but I think myself, the dog and the hoover were involved in the conspiracy. I have a three foot long 3 inch wide bald patch of carpet. My husband said yes Lissa and that's why I like to do the housework lol, he's right I'm like a wrecking ball, I don't know how but things get broken around me.

Aww, that sucks. It's also why I ripped up all my carpet and put down vinyl. Dogs and kids are not compatible with carpet. :/

My carpet was trashed when we moved in. Now it's even more trashed thanks to Logan and his spew and eating things around the house.

We used to have wood floors but we can't have them any more due to my husbands ankle. As his ankle is no longer in the right place and the tendons are sheared, his foot is completely wonky and he can't control it properly. This means we have to avoid any surfaces that may be slippery as far as possible because he just can't balance on them. I miss my wood floors though, they were pretty, easy to clean and didn't get ripped up by dogs and hoovers.

Oh no!!! That's probably the biggest reason I'm not replacing our crappy carpet at the moment - not while the kids are so hard on it, I just can't see the point. Sounds to me like hubby should do the housework in the future, sounds like a good deal to me

I think by the time Ethan is house trained, oops I mean potty trained I'll need new carpets...then Poppy will be ready to potty train. I can't wait until this potty training lark is over, I am already fed up of cleaning up the accidents. it's a good job I already hated my carpets, carpets are not easily cleanable, I like easily cleanable.
