In light of Kate's husbands big screw up I thought I would start a post about our men's screw ups.
Okay so last week Steve got up in the night cause Riley wanted a drink of milk. So he goes to the fridge, realizes there is no milk in the jug, puts a new bag in but cuts the corner off the wrong side (the side with the handle).
So the first thing this smart man of mine tried to do? Pull the bag out and turn it around. HAHA, milk everywhere, bag stuck.
So then in his middle of the night wisdom he come to the most "LOGICAL?!!" solution.
He breaks the handle off the jug so he can pour it from the other side without it spilling everywhere!!!
Ummmm..... honey... Did you think of maybe, just maybe cutting the other corner before your tried all those really "complicated, over thought" things???
LOL.
He's realized now how dumb and man like that was!! He blames the fact it was 3 am.
You?

While I was in hospital having our first baby he went home to wash some clothes. My brand new skirt and his brand new good shirt and some other stuff. Put the laundry detergent in and doesn't close the lid. Our machine is ancient and doesn't wash if the lid is up. So all the new stuff had big bleached spots on it!! I tried to dye my skirt back brown but it's still got a big orange patch and I've never worn it in public since and his new shirt became a working in the shed shirt. It pisses me off to this day.

Wow, milk in a bag! Where do you get milk in a bag? I'd buy that! Surely it'd be easier to freeze than the plastic bottles.
My man brain story happened three days ago. Dale came home late (7pm) and wanted to go out and dig for worms because "the guys" from work were going to go fishing the following night after work. The boys were in their pjs ready to hit the sack. Dale asks Seth if he wants to go out and help dig for worms! The kid is freshly showered and in pjs and READY for bed, but of course as soon as it's suggested to go outside he's there! Ugh. TWO HOURS later... they come inside with a bucket half full of dirt to show me the worms and grubs they got. Seth was filthy and went to bed (at 9:30pm) with a worm stuck in his hair that I didn't find until morning.
After the kindy run in the morning I decided to do some weeding in the garden. That is how I discovered where the worms came from. A quarter of my veggie garden was demolished!

Can't get milk in a bag in BC anymore. It's a crying shame.
